Grenada, Miss. (June 03, 2011) -The Grenada County Economic Development District (the EDD) announced today that Josh Mattox, Vice President of EMC Corporation in Grenada, has joined their board of Directors to fill the vacancy left by Mrs. Lee Murphy who left the board at the end of 2010.
As Vice President of EMC Corporation headquartered in Grenada, one of the nation’s premier surveying and mapping companies specializing in Hydrographic, Topographic and Geophysical Surveys, Mr. Mattox is responsible for managing relationships with many government agencies and private clients. He also assists with the daily operations of the Corporation and is in charge for all business development throughout the United States. Mr. Mattox is a Professional Licensed Surveyor in several states and is a graduate of Mississippi State University. He is married to Grenada native Marie Blair and they have three sons. Coley Bailey, Chairman of the Grenada EDD Board of Director said, “Josh is a strong businessman, engineer, and entrepreneur and we look forward to benefiting from his insights and experience. Josh is a great complement to our board and we believe he will add a new dimension to our already lively board discussions. We are absolutely thrilled to having him as a board member.” Josh Mattox added, “I am honored to have the opportunity to serve on the EDD board along some of the finest business people in Grenada.
