Trulite Expanding Grenada Operations
The Grenada Economic Development District (the EDD) announced today that Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions will expand operations and create an additional 15 jobs at its Grenada location.
Improvements to the facility will accommodate the company’s installation of newer and more efficient laminated glass production equipment, generating a significant increase in production capacity.
“This opportunity to add jobs and expand production capabilities will serve to strengthen our company’s position in the manufacture of glass products,” said Wayne Smith, general manager of the Grenada facility. “We are pleased to be able to bring these new jobs to Grenada and to continue to contribute to the growth of the economy here.”
“Companies like Trulite are the backbone of our local economy,” said Pablo Diaz, executive director of the EDD. “Their commitment to the local community and their drive to continue to grow their capabilities are indicative of the viability of this area for manufacturing opportunities.”
Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions is the oldest continuously operating manufacturing facility in Grenada, beginning as Binswanger Mirror in 1947. Now Trulite, the company continues to be a vital part of the Grenada economy.
