Coley Bailey (Bailey and Sons), Chairman
Coley Bailey is a general partner in Bailey and Sons and former CEO of Mississippi Chemical Corporation, an NYSE traded fertilizer manufacturer. As CEO of MCC, he led the company through the successful confirmation of its precedent-setting plan to emerge from bankruptcy in 2004. During his ten months as CEO, the implied value of MCC grew from less than $200M to more than $400M at emergence. Other achievements include development of a greenfield newsprint mill for Newsprint South Inc., a leadership role in improving cotton farming techniques and related agricultural activities, and assisting various public and private enterprises in growth and transition as advisor, consultant, mediator, and agent. Coley a Grenada County native holds a B.S. in General Agriculture from Mississippi State University and has continued his professional development through leadership and agricultural programs at Harvard Business School, Purdue University, and DuPont.
Frank Bradford (Regions Bank)
Frank Bradford, Jr. is a banking industry veteran with more than 27 years of experience. He is the vice president and manager of Regions Bank’s full-service branch in Grenada, Mississippi. In this position, he manages a staff of twelve employees, and is responsible for the day-to-day safety and soundness of the branch. Additionally, Frank leads the branch’s small business and commercial lending activities, while serving as residential construction lender for the bank throughout North Mississippi. Frank is a graduate of Delta State University, the University of Mississippi’s School of Banking, and the School for Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin.
Ida Givens (Grenada WIN Job Center)
Ida Givens is branch director of the Grenada WIN Job Center, where she focuses daily on “Increasing Employment in Mississippi.” She is a former member of the Grenada County Chamber of Commerce board of directors and currently serves on the education committee. Ida is also a member of the Elizabeth Jones Library board of trustees, Grenada Arts Partnership and the Grenada Public Schools Dropout Prevention Committee. She is the vice president of the Mississippi Valley State University Alumni – Grenada Chapter. A graduate of Grenada High School, Ida received a B.A. in Business Administration from Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena.
Keith Mitchell (Regions Bank)
Keith Mitchell, a banking industry veteran with more than 26 years of experience, is senior vice president and community relationship manager of Regions Bank. In this position, he manages middle market commercial / business relationships throughout North Mississippi. Keith has been with Regions Bank his entire career. A native of Grenada, Keith is a graduate of Delta State University with a B.A. in Finance; the University of Mississippi’s School of Banking, the University Of Vanderbilt School of Banking, and the University of Oklahoma School of Commercial Banking.
Josh Mattox (EMC, Inc. )
Josh Mattox is vice president of EMC, Inc. a nationwide surveying and mapping company headquartered in Grenada, Mississippi. EMC is one of the nation’s premier surveying and mapping company specializing in Hydrographic, Topographic and Geophysical Surveys. As Vice President, Mr. Mattox is responsible for managing the relationships with many government agencies and private clients and assists with the daily operations of the Corporation. He is in charge for all business development throughout the United States. Mr. Mattox is a Professional Licensed Surveyor in several states and is a graduate of Mississippi State University. He is married to Grenada native Marie Blair and they have three sons.
Wayne Smith (Vitro America)
Wayne B. Smith is the plant manager of the Vitro America manufacturing plant in Grenada. Vitro America, LLC is an acknowledged leader in the fabrication and distribution of glass and glass-related products to commercial and residential construction markets and automotive after-markets throughout the United States. Wayne chose to make Grenada his home along with his wife of 30 years, a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and two adult sons, both graduates of Delta State University with advanced degrees. He has served on the Grenada Chamber of Commerce board of directors and as president of the Rotary Club. Wayne graduated from Georgia Military College with an Associate in Engineering degree and received his B.S. in Mathematics from Louisiana College.
Joe Trevino (Advanced Distributor Products) Joseph (Joe) A. Trevino is Director of Human Resources for Advanced Distributor Products, one of the world’s largest residential evaporator coil manufacturers. Joe is married to Gabriella DeLawey-Trevino, Artist, and they moved to Grenada in April 2004. Joe has a son , daughter, and step-daughter who reside in the Cleveland Ohio area and one step-daughter that resides in Washington, D.C. as well as five grandchildren. Joe holds a BS in Liberal Arts, Graduate work in Management and Supervision, and served as US Army Officer, Major, for 12 years. Joe is President Elect – Grenada Kiwanis Club and Vice President Grenada Area Chamber of Commerce.
Jay Gore, Counsel to County and EDD
Jay Gore, a native of Mississippi, has been practicing law since 1976. His practice includes construction liability, insurance litigation, products liability, business litigation, and county government law, as well as general practice. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi.
Deborah Hicks Midanek (Solon Group, Inc.), Consultant
Deborah Hicks Midanek Bailey is president and CEO of Solon Group, Inc., which provides leadership assistance to companies in transition. Deborah has built a strong record of achievement and recognition as a corporate director, CEO, turnaround manager, business builder and rebuilder on her own and inside of large organizations, and as a participant in various financial innovations on Wall Street. She also speaks and writes on corporate governance, corporate leadership, and turnaround management. She obtained a history degree at Bryn Mawr College, and she holds an MBA from The Wharton School and is a Certified Turnaround Professional.
